Good show, and well opinionated. By the way GTA4 came out for the xbox 360 as well as the PS3. I somewhat agree with how you feel about GTA4 Josh but also somewhat don't. In a way you make an interesting point about your conscience and this game. If you are a little too comfortable doing some of these things in a game then maybe this has something to say to how you really are. After all there is some proof of this in news the last five years or so. Almost across the board most young people that commit crimes admit to playing these games and further admit that they had an influence on what they did. This I believe is evidence that while "just a game" it does play a role on society especially the young and immature kind. However, to the mature and responsible this is just a game and no matter what, it is fake. What it does say about a person, if anything at all, is what set person would do if they were given a fake world, with fake people, and fake consequences. And of course we all well know the answer to that as it has sold millions of copies across the U.S. Not many young people would pass an opportunity like that, a chance to do what you know you would never do in real life, at least for most of us. Something that has not been tackled about this subject is if in return by giving young people an outlet in fake video games, they in turn are less violent in real. I believe that these games have both their positives and definitely negatives, either way I know that the argument can often be argued both ways. For us mature gamers, its just a game. Although I took it back, couldn't deal with the hookers.

You guys are big dorks. I can't believe I watched the whole thing. LOL. My comment has to do with the Stories segment that Josh spoke about. I understand your point about Christians playing Grand Theft Auto to I guess "challenge" themselves to see if they would do the right thing. However, I disagree. I have never played the game, but one of my friends has and he has told me about all the details. Besides being able to sleep with a prostitute there are also codes to see them naked which is basically like anime pornography. I believe this is wrong. People are weak. I believe in not putting oneself into tempting situations. I will relate it to a couple living together before marriage. Eventually they will do something they shouldn't, so why put yourself in this situation? Eventually you will hit the person or "sleep with prostitute" just to see what it is like. Maybe you think this is a drastic comparision, but a sin is a sin. I understand everyone has different personalities, so maybe they feel like this is "just a game," but I wouldn't risk it. Pretty good show. A little long, but funny. --Lydia
